Hello wonderful secret santa person! *bows and offers the traditional cookies and milk bribe*
Well, let's see. I like: fairy tales, and I mean the old fashioned kind, not the Disney variety. Au and character development and canon and slash and het and fluff and really, I have a pretty wide range of tastes. (I like to think)
mmmm. Trying to think of what would be helpful, here. If you have poked around my journal, you may have noticed I like crack!fic sometimes? But I really don't want that for yuletide, because when I go in for crack!fic it's usually like eating junk food. Sometimes I will read one of those, come back and read it later, and wonder what in the heck I liked about it. :P With Yuletide, because it is the nature of the game that we can't find these stories anywhere, I'd really rather not?
What I am a sucker for, what I love are the aus that make it feel as if the world they sprang off from is sleeping in the background, that it's possible for the old story to wake up and take it's course even in the new surroundings.
One thing that's definitely under the Do Not Want category: explicit sex? Sex itself is fine, just not the really explicit stuff.
Extra details in case they're helpful, and feel free to skip if not:
Ronin Warriors: This was my first fandom love, my baby that I keep trying to write for and nothing ever feels good enough. The first episode (whole one, anyway) that I saw was Shuten in the park having his moral crisis, and I don't think I've ever quite gotten over the impression of him being the prince of this tragic fairytale. So that idea popping into my head as I tried to think of a request was probably inevitable.
As for Rajura, well. Who went after him? Never mind the armor, the man went after him.
Of course, depending on which fandom matched up, this may make no sense at all. ^^;
BoF IV: Is there anyone in this game who was not screwed over? I love it to pieces, and I love nitpicking at the canon and trying to understand 'okay, how does that work?' but really. The curtain sets on this odd sense of a happy ending that I do not believe will happen. Now that I think about it, except for the bit about maybe a happy ending for Fou-Lu and Mami... it's all angst, and that would be fine also.
Night at the Museum: The really easy one! No, really, this is the one I stuck in because I was afraid my other two were a bit.. much? Anything at all, please and thank you. They are so darn cute!
