spokeMrrr. Possibly a more serious post sometime tonight, possibly not. Definetly a writing one, since I did get some done and hope to do some more!

Gym? What Gym! I looked at the guidebook again and found out I missed an area in the desert, with more Pokemon (of course!) and what's this?! What! Is this!
Ghost Pokemon. FORGET THE GYM I HAVE GHOSTIES TO CATCH
In case you cannot tell, they've become my favorite type. Individually I tend to like a variety of things, but across the board as a type - omg Ghosts. These are Egyptian themed, just for freaking bonus points! :D
Alright, where are these ruins I want my Ghost.
No, all I'm finding is a bunch of sand. And a couple of new catches, a Sigilyph which is a very odd Flying/Psychic that looks Native American inspired. And Maractus, which well. I'm pretty sure you can figure it out.
..I named it Marluxia. *is slowly completing her set*
And Blitzle evolved! No longer is it a cute electric pony colored like a zebra, now it is a full grown Zebstrika with a punk electric hairdo! XD
Oooh. Hey, a tower in the sand - are you ruinous with Ghosties, tower?
You are! :D At least one Ghost, Yamask. "Each of them carries a mask that used to be its face when it was human. Sometimes they look at it and cry."

In this unexplored bit of the road to another town - the roads split at this point - I caught a Trubbish. My second poison type, and very gross looking. I also caught a Gothita. Which is just. I am disturbed! It's this horrible little lolli-goth sickeningly cute Psychic type labeled the Fixation Pokemon and just,

So scary ominous bridge? Has no Trainers on. It does have Ducklett! Pretty blue, well, duck. Which drops feathers which provide a tiny raise in stats, though you have to run around the bridge looking for them.
How is this not an endangered species? :P
Aaaand Gym Leader Clay has the most horrible Southern accent in translation. Makes me wonder what it was before. Also, he's blaming us for the escape of - guess who? That's right, some Team Plasma guys they had caught. Dammit.

Lovely dark, gloomy place - and in the grass I found a Vanillite! My first Ice type, it looks like a floating ice cream. awwww.
His name's Vexen. :)
Gah, this game and the adorable Electric types! I want me a Voltik, I dooo. But where are they?! Not here, I only saw a Trainer with one here.
Bleah, have stumbled upon Team Jerkasses' hideout. Cheren shows up when you do, so here we go.
It's an Ice Cave. XD Actual cold storage, so. No wonder the little ice type hanging around.

This Gym is interesting. Elevators going down, and it's like a parking lot. Maybe it's supposed to be a mining facility? Really pretty for something so practical-looking, because the strata in the rock (and some fossils!) are visible behind it all.
Ground Gym is perfect for leveling Xigbar some. >:D Swept the Trainers with him, but now the boss...
Still not that hard! I have a super-pretty Quake Badge!

Finally, I get an Emolga! So freaking cute!

So, back at it after retreating from the cave to heal. This is a hard cave! but very beautiful, with the electricity and the blue everywhere. Best cave yet! (Also first, but does that really count?)
Also, all kinds of awesome - new one-use powerups called 'gems', that you find in dust clouds in this cave! And I found a Shiny Stone in one of those dust clouds. :o
Another evolution! Lexaeus goes from adorable bady Sandile to much more intimidating Krokorok! Now he's bipedal. >:)
Oval Stone! :o It is the Cave of Evolution Stones, yes. :o :o :o
And now I find the healer. After all that going back and forth. XD
Everstone! At some point, I am coming back to this cave with a ton of repels and just mining it for stones.
