Hello Chocolatier!
And thank you in advance for the lovely fic. :) Whatever we get matched on, have fun! And I'm sure I will like it.
General Likes: Fluff! Alternate universes, of both the 'what if one thing happened differently' and the 'so now they're all pokemon trainers!' varities. (Especially coffee shop aus - I have a weakness. -.-) Happy endings, except in cases where it would be wildly impossible like. Mortal enemies skipping off into the sunset. >> Dark fic, if that's where the story goes, is also wonderful. It depends on the tone of the universe, so do whatever feels right for you and the story.
General dislikes: Mpreg, toilet sports, anything really explicit. ABO dynamics. That's pretty much it.
Tolkien Works. I just really like the idea of Tauriel ending up in Rivendell, dealing with all these ridiculously stiff (from her perspective) Noldor. What does she think of Rivendell parties? What does she think of Arwen? How long until she gets bored out of her mind and goes back to Mirkwood?! ;p
What does she think of Arwen's twin brothers and their determination to wipe every Orc in existence from the face of Middle Earth and does it remind her of anyone. <<
Alternately, I just. Cannot buy Maglor wandering the shores of Middle Earth forever. And ever. And ever. Eventually he'll run out of shore, for one thing, and for another Elrond is too caring to leave his foster parent out in the cold like that. Bilbo having the chance to talk history with Maglor is a fascinating idea, and one I'd like to see played out.
Kingdom HeartsSo this is one of my darker fandoms, the dynamics among the Xehanorts are really, really twisted. Not expecting fluff here, though if you felt so inclined and thought you could pull it off believably...
Really, these two aren't even in the backstabbing club, they'd stab each other in the face if it suited either of their purposes. I was actually impressed when Braig tried to shoot him, even though I thought for a second 'well that's it he's dead now'.
Alternately, seasalt trio! All the aus! Just. Some kind of happy ending for the poor kids, their lives are so screwed up. Poor precious babies. :(
Yu-Gi-Oh!Huh. I appear to have picked two of my dark-fic fandoms and didn't realize. These two, either of them, are so messed up. How do you relate to someone who is and isn't you. Who wants what you want, if not in the way you want it, and is willing to do things you wouldn't do to get it.
How do you explain that there are lines you wouldn't cross, when you are in fact the one crossing them? I always thought that the line between lives was less distinct for the Bakuras than it was for Yugi and Atem, and anything playing with that confusion would be wonderful.
