So, sis came by today. And Nathaniel and Jonathan were running around being cute. ^_^
Nathaniel apparently came in the house on a Mission to rescue his toys. XD It was so cute, he was telling me about each toy and how he was bringing it home. He felt that bore much repeating, "I'm bringing *name of toy* to my house." after every toy. He so pathetically cute when he's serious.
Meanwhile Jonathan found a top, and was staring at it like it was hypnotizing him or something. He was very happy, and kept babbling quietly about it. I say babble because he was right next to me and I understood nothing he was saying except 'blue'.
The top was actually orange and silver, so clearly he's still doing that 'all colors are blue' thing. Thing is, when Nathaniel started tallking, that was it, he just took off; Jonathan seems to learn in little leaps and bounds, that are driven by whether he needs to be able to say a word or not. Because, unless it directly benefits him, he could care less. We know he this because he couldn't/wouldn't talk at all until the Mommy and I stopped giving him things just because he pointed at them. Then it was:
Jonathan:"Cup please."
Mommy or Auntie:"I want the cup, please." *encouraging smile*
Jonathan: *looking harassed* "Want cup please."
Mommy or Auntie:" I want the cup please."
Jonathan, depending on mood either even more harrassed, or teary 'why are you being mean to me' eyes: "I want cup please!"
Mommy or Auntie: *cave because at least the pronoun got included that time*
Oh! And Ashlin-'I am the world's sweetest baby as long as only my Mommy holds me'Nicole; looked at me and smiled this time. *rolls eyes* But given that the last time she frowned at me and burst out crying when Dad tried to see her, I think this is an improvement.
Though in other family matters, our parents are going to have to go up to the court sometime in October because of little brother. Turns out that although he's had a job for months, he's not been paying his court-ordered 50-a-month restitution fees. >.< I ask myself for the umpteenth time, how am I related to this person? How?!
I darned one pocket, and mean to finish the others sometime tonight!
I have just enough knowledge of stitching left to both know how to do this, and that my stitches are not supposed to look like that. They are, in fact, rather retarded stitches. But as long as they work, I don't care! :D
And! Andandandand! ^_^
(which I am already planning to go see again!) Is the gayest pirate movie ever! Seriously! I was all O.o
And his entrance! And the poor little boat is probably still in that harbor! ^^
And the Very Stupid Guards, and thier counter-parts on the pirate side, the Very Cross-Dressing Pirates! XD
And I loved Will! I wanted Will to run away with Jack, I really did. Liz could have come too, they'd have been a happy threesome? Or something? Or Will could have come back for secret visits, all romantic clandestine love-affair like. Just as long he spent the majority of the time at sea with Jack, you know. XD
And Jack! The wobbly ever-so-gayness of him! ^_^ I was so very happy about Jack. And his not-quite-insanity. And cheerfully blatant lying.
Will: "Where did he get rope?"
the two notice Jack has joined them and overheard at least part of this.
Jack: "I made it out of human hair. Off my back."
XD XD XD
And it's very fun and silly, and has RUM! and sword-fights (I love sword-fights, but I will never be able to think of them in a non-pervy context again. << I'm not entirely sure how I avoided this before...) and sharks and ships and treasures-es! It was nice to be able to just enjoy something that way, and not get really emotionally worked up, as most of the movies I like, I do because they invoke grand passions.
>> Although, I did catch myself thinking at the end, and again while talking to Shusu, that Jack is definitely a Slytherin, while Will is a Gryff.
Now, see this, peoples? *points to aforementioned duo* We can get along perfectly well, and even have fun adventures together! :D
It's just that the Gryffs have to accpet that thier Slytherin friends are going to be underhanded and << things >>
And the Slytherins have to take something Jack said as a motto. "You can always rely on a dishonest man to be dishonest; it's the honest ones you have to watch. Because you never know when they're going to do something stupid." << This should be taken in the context that as he was saying the last few words, Jack knocked down one of the 'evil' pirates and tossed Will said pirate's sword.
^_^ So Will could commence being stupid, of course. ^_^
