Just to say that it is a rare and wonderful thing to be a theater with an auidience that seems made up entirely of true fans and polite people.

So rare that it's never happened to me before. ^^;;

No stupid comments, no loud talking - I heard one person very softly explaining to thier friend about Smeagol and Gollum, and that just a snatch before the movie's volume drowned them out.

Otherwise, just cheering and laughter at all the right places, and this roar of applause for Gandalf when Denethor tells his men to abandon thier posts and Gandalf knocks him unconscious. It has been far too long since i've read the books, and I can't really remember if he did that or not - but it felt right, for the movie. I was clapping, too. :D

And Eowyn, and the Witch King -omg! <3 <3 <3

Cannot wait for the extended dvd for this one to come out, as we didn't see Sauruman, or the whole mess at the Shire... I really hope it's in that one, as I can't imagine them not doing it. Too important, you know? :(

And there was some silliness with Arwen... but the bit about seeing her kid, I kind of liked. << Then again, I just like the idea of thier kids in general, and the world they would have grown up in... I wonder did they ever visit Eowyn and Faramir? Their kids playing together, eeeek the cute! And 'Mommy, tell us about the War of the Ring - tell us how you met Daddy!' XD I am getting silly. And sleepy, too, so I suppose I should expect it.

Oh - but also? I had 'forgotten' about Shelob. x.x *shudders* For 'forgotten' read 'consciously blocked all knowledge of that creature's existance from my mind'. Which I've actually done every time I've re-read the books, too: Shelob does not exist until I reach the point that she does, and then I'm kind of clinging to the fact that Sam will make it all better by making her GO AWAY! And boy, did he - <3 Sam, always, but now? Extra <3's, just for the magnificent battling of the evil spider!

Have I mentioned i'm afraid of spiders? << I'm going to have nightmares from this, she was like a huge tarantula and damn but they maybe went overboard with the realism? Just the way she moved, that was a god-damn spider. x.x I need a Sam plushie to hug, or something. So going to have nightmares. Must stop thinking about spider.

Read something fluffy and non-LOTR, quick! Or play a video game...with no animals in it...which tosses Pokemon Gold/Silver out the window, due to certain parties. Just to tangent further, someone should do lines of chara plushies. They would make out like bandits, and we would be joyous. And *cough* I'd have a Hagrid. And a Gandalf. And, and, and...^^
