spokeSeiji! The Fierce Battle In The Darkness!
Lalala, let us once again walk casually down the streets of a demon possessed city. << As if nothing were gonna happen! :p
Oh! Oh yeah, now I remember something. >.< The episode before this, it and the face off between Seiji and Anubis later, are the two I kept missing when I was trying to record the dubs. So, so frustrated, and then when I finally got the Seiji and Anubis one, I nearly wore the tape out. And I was heartbroken because I never got #11, and then the show stopped running, and augh! What happened?! ;_;
And then, the wonderful Cartoon Network, which I will love forever even if I never see cable again. ^_^ Even if it was a creepy episode with Rajura in it. ^^;;; Ahh, nostalgia. Isn't memory wonderful?
Speaking of ^^; *unpauses*

Running is pretty much the same... no stupid shopping mall comments, though. And Ryo tells them to head aboveground, as underground is crawling with soldiers of doom. Doom!
And also, hello? Mr. Condemns-Shuu-for-wanting-to-fight-but-can't-wait-to-ditch-Natse-and-Jun-himself! >:p You are a hypocrite! What were you, getting on Shuu's case because you wish you were that honest about it?
Huh... Shin's voice echoed again. ??? The water? << Nope, not letting go.
A lot of this is very similar to the dub. Almost annoyingly so.. a point where I can recognize Seiji saying 'baka'... means 'fool' or something like that, yes? But that's not what the subtitle says.
Anubis: "My Sword of Darkness feeds off the light..." The dub would follow, "sucking it from the air" etc. Subtitle's "...turning darkness to strength. This means that your power is useless before me."
Seiji: "Th-that can't be!" etc
Anubis: "Learn that you are a fool!"
...I think not the last time he uses terms that would seem to imply he is the teacher and Seiji the student? Subtle insult, maybe?
Ahh, nostalgia. *stops on the spot on Memory Lane that contains coming across Minkland and realizing that this was why Cale was so focused on Sage. <<;;; And the ensuing obsession therewith. ^_^;;;*
