HOLY FREAKING AWESOME, BATMAN! My rival has a little sister! Who solemnly told me to take good care of my new pokemon when I get it! And rival agrees, and they’re coming with to pick it up! Hands down best rival ever. :D
Oh wait, he’s sending her home. Because little girl and it’s pretty much night. But that is responsible and therefore still cool. <3

Man. These kids live in a proper little city, with its own Pokemon center - not the traditional little cluster of maybe four or five houses.

AUGH what! My Tepig I just got against his Oshawatt he raised from an egg?! So not right. :p

‘The trash can is empty.’ Why does it always say this, and not, oh: ‘You see eggshells and banana peels’ or ‘You wish you hadn’t looked’ ?
Meanwhile! Someone’s little doggy pokemon has wandered off, and they’re a little worried. Rival Hugh, upon hearing this, pretty much flips his shit to the tune of ‘he could be dead in a ditch WHY DON’T YOU CARE MOAR, RAWR.’
Everyone else kind of blinks and wonders what his problem is, but I’m helping search anyway.
Seriously, we’re not talking about a lost Caterpie or an actual ‘baby’ pokemon here, it’s pretty much a tiny scotty terrier? I’d be more worried about the local Rattata or cat-types?
Speaking of baby pokemon, wtf a wild Azurill? That. Doesn’t happen. <<

Oooh dear, getting hints of tragic backstory for the Rival - he’s acting awfully afraid of losing Pokemon, and it’s only been two years since Team Jerkass broke up. I wonder if he’s going on this journey to look for a lost Pokemon? :(

Okay, that was kind of awesome except for my introduction to the most annoying new mini-game ever: waitressing! As a tiny mushroom. So that the drinks fall off the tray balanced on its head if you move too fast. AUGH.
I’ve avoided every version of this game ever on Neopets, why must Pokemon do this and make it worse?! FAIL.
